I deliver all my lessons online. Although some are hesitant about this format, with the right preparation and equipment, you can get just as effective a lesson as in person. One major advantage: you don’t have to spend hours commuting each week. That time can instead go toward studying, relaxing, or whatever you like. Lessons are held over Zoom, which I believe is ideal for English teaching. During class, it’s important that we see each other—so please enable your camera. A computer or laptop is preferred, as it gives you the clearest view of what I write on the virtual board. A tablet can work too, though the smaller screen sometimes makes things harder.

The rates apply to private (one-on-one) lessons. If you cancel a lesson within 48 hours of the scheduled time, 50% of the fee is due; if cancellation is within 3 hours, the full fee applies. I do make exceptions for illness or emergencies if you inform me in advance.

Lessons must be paid in advance, either individually or in packages. Lessons run for 45 minutes, and always start on the hour. Please join Zoom at least 1 minute before the scheduled time. You’ll be admitted from the waiting room.
